Elk

Our hunts are conducted on public lands in Northern New Mexico.  We hunt game management units 6A, 6B (VALLES CALDERA NATIONAL PRESERVE), AND 6C.   We are also permitted to hunt most areas in the state of New Mexico.

Over the last three years we have had 100% shooting opportunity on mature bulls with an 80% success rate.

We use all methods of hunting:

  • Calling
  • Spot and stalk
  • Glassing
  • Sitting blinds on water holes or wallows

Hunters will be entered in the annual NM draw.  Submissions are due in mid-March with draw results available late April.  Unsuccessful applicants will have the option to purchase a land owner tag at an additional cost and is based on availability.

Our hunts include double occupancy Hotel lodging at the La Cueva Lodge in the famous Jemez Mountains. We will have fabulous home cooked meals at our camp close to the hotel.

All of our guides are family or personal friends.  They are experienced and know the areas they hunt intimately.  We spend a lot of time preseason scouting which will help to make your hunt an experience of a  lifetime.

  • ARCHERY HUNTS - 5 day hunts take place in September with the option for longer hunts.
  • MUZZLELOADER HUNTS - 5 day hunts in early October.
  • RIFLE HUNTS - 5 day hunts in mid to late October.

Antelope

New Mexico is home to some of the best Antelope hunting in the country.  We hunt both Private and Public lands.  Hunters can expect to see many mature bucks and have numerous shooting opportunities.  Each year we generally have a 100% success rate on mature bucks.

These are 3 day hunts.  The private land hunts are guaranteed tags with no need to enter the draw.  We generally stay in hotels in small towns close to the areas we hunt.
